The LT wave had a fairly good month in September. The weakness started a bit earlier than expected. And the subsequent stronger period until the 18th produced rally attempts, but not very strong. That already indicated underlying weakness. The subsequent weaker period for the final 10 days of the month saw the SPX drop more

The LT wave had a rather poor month in August. Expected weakness early in the month came in as expected. But the subsequent stronger period did not show up. Instead the decline continued.
